Jalapeno-Pepino Margarita
This daring rendition of a Mexican classic is the perfect balance of sugar and spice. The mellow sweetness of the cucumber is immediately followed by the subtle tingle of the fresh jalapeño. A refreshing cocktail for any occasion.

Ingredients
2 oz. silver tequila
1 1/2 oz. agave nectar
1 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 cucumber, enough to produce four wheels
1 or 2 jalapenos, depending on desired amount of spice
Preparation
- Peel Cucumber, make sure to remove as much of the rind as possible (Otherwise, the drink may come out bitter). Slice the peeled cucumber into four wheels.
- Remove the stems and seeds from the jalapenos. Slice jalapenos horizontally into wheels.
- Combine cucumber wheels, jalapenos and lime juice in a mixing cup
- Proceed to muddle the contents of the mixing cup until the ingredients are almost liquified.
- Add tequila, agave nectar and ice to the muddled ingredients.
- Shake (no need to strain the cocktail) and serve on the rocks!
