San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
We took the last bus ride into San Miguel de Allende, we were looking forward to the rest and relaxation. San Miguel has always been a frequent trip for my husband and I. It’s just so easy to get to and such an amazing and relaxing place to be when we need to get away.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this beautiful hacienda ten minutes away from the Zocalo. I love the Sierra Hacienda. The quesillo here is a winner! We usually order the quesillo as an appetizer. Another favorite of mine here is the arrachera. They really know how to cook their arrachera to perfection. It was served with enchiladas de mole with guacamole, black beans and grant grilled onions. This was a great combination.
Today the farmers market was right outside our door. We shopped for carnitas, fruit, plantains and anything else we could carry. That night, we decided just to hangout, cook and eat carnitas – which were to die for.
